Tracking franchise units on a territory map is a powerful tool for franchisors and franchisees alike. It allows them to visualize the distribution of their franchise locations, identify areas with potential for growth, and track the progress of their sales efforts.

When it comes to franchising, territory mapping can be used to help establish the boundaries of each franchise unit. This allows the franchisor to ensure that each franchisee has a specific area in which to operate, preventing overlap and competition between units. Additionally, by identifying areas where there are few or no franchise units, franchisors can target potential franchisees and expand their network.

Synuma's Territory Map - now called the 'Unit Map' - gives you a full Google 'Map' or 'Satellite' view of your open Locations, Projects and Sites, as well as Locations for Sale and Closed Locations, depending on the toggles you have selected on the left side.

You can also use this view to identify any territories associated to Companies within Synuma. Remember that Companies can be assigned territories under the Company record.

At the top of the page, you can easily search for a specific address, or filter various units by Synuma Timeline Phase, the contact associated to the Unit, or by concept, depending on whether or not your company is multi-brand.

If you have active Projects selected as 'On', below the map you'll see a list of Projects shown, along with a button which allows you to center that specific unit on the map.
