Welcome to the April Release Notes for Synuma! In this edition, we will be highlighting the latest updates and enhancements made to our platform to improve user experience and increase productivity. We've released a ton of new features, so this release is packed with exciting changes that will help you get the most out of Synuma. So, let's dive in and discover what's new in our April update!

Import Company Custom Fields using Import Tool - In our ongoing efforts to provide more user-facing functionality, we've improved our import tool by adding the ability to import custom fields, specifically on 'Companies'. We will continue to move forward on applying this functionality to all areas of Synuma in which custom fields can be added, including but not limited to Seeds, Sites, Contacts and Locations. You can easily identify which line items in the tool are custom fields, as they will be marked with a 'CF' as shown below. It is important to note that the import tool can not create new custom fields, and the custom fields must already exist in Synuma to be properly mapped using the import tool.

Clarified Development Report Toggle Wording - Client feedback helped us identify that wording of the Development Report filters was causing some confusion, so we cleaned them up a bit to make them easier to understand and utilize.

  • 'Include New Development Projects' has been changed to 'Include Projects' : Selecting this will include active projects, excluding any Renovations, ReOpens, 'Dead', 'Archived' or 'On Hold' projects unless other filters are selected.

  • 'Include Active Renovation Projects' has been changed to 'Include All Renovations' : Selecting this will include all Renovation Projects, both in progress and completed.

  • 'Include Active Re-Open Projects' has been changed to 'Include All Re-Opens' : Selecting this will include all Re-Open Projects, both in progress and completed.

New Development Report Toggles - In addition to changing the wording above, we've also added two new filtering options to give you as much flexibility as possible when viewing your units using the Development Report.

  • 'Only Include Renovations Completed in Date Range' - Selecting this will turn automatically turn off the toggle to 'Include All Renovations', removing Renovations in progress and instead only showing Renovations completed within a selected date range.

  • 'Only Include Re-Opens Completed in Date Range' - Selecting this will turn automatically turn off the toggle to 'Include All Re-Opens', removing Re-Opens in progress and instead only showing Re-Opens completed within a selected date range.

New Widget! : Leads by Country - This widget will identify all countries to which your leads are associated. If a Lead does not have an assigned Country, it will be marked as 'N/A'.
