When you're running a business, chances are you're receiving a lot of emails every day. It can be a challenge to keep up with the volume, especially when it comes to parsing leads into your CRM. With Synuma, we've transformed this into a straightforward and painless process.

One of the easiest ways to parse emails into your CRM is to set up email forwarding rules. Most email platforms, like Gmail, allow you to forward specific emails to another email address. In this case, you can forward all emails from leads to your specific Synuma Lead Email address, where they can be automatically parsed and added to your leads database. This eliminates the need for manual data entry and saves you time.

There are also administrative components within Synuma that can help you automate the process of parsing emails into the system. These tools work by analyzing the subject lines of your emails and automatically assigning a source to the lead. This eliminates the need for manual data entry and ensures that your leads database is always accurate and up-to-date.

To set up automatic source mapping as a Client Administrator, first navigate to Administration>Lead Email Subjects. To add a new mapping, click 'New' in the upper right corner:

In the popup window that appears, copy and paste the email subject line into the first box. 'Copy and paste' is recommended since the formatting, spacing and spelling of the subject line must match in the system exactly, or the system will not map the source properly. Next, select the Lead Source from the available dropdown options. As a friendly reminder, you can add any lead sources you may need to select under Administration>Select Lists>Lead Sources. Click 'Save' to keep your new mapping:

Now, when leads are forwarded to Synuma with that email address, they will be automatically tagged with the source you've assigned.

You can always edit a lead source mapping, or delete it by clicking the down-facing arrow as shown here:
