Email communication can be a powerful tool for franchisors to reach out to their potential customers, promote their products or services, and generate leads. But, with so many emails landing in people's inboxes every day, it's important to make sure your emails stand out. Creating email campaign templates for your customer relationship management (CRM) system can help you create consistent and effective emails that will engage your audience and drive results.

Synuma makes it easy to create email templates for use in enrollment or drip campaigns, bulk emails or single emails to leads. Begin by navigating to Sales>Templates in the left navigation bar.

You may see a list of any templates that have already been created. To create a new template, click '+New' in the top right corner of the page:

Start by naming your Template under the 'Name' field. This is just for cataloging purposes, and is purposefully different than the 'Subject' field below it, which will be the subject line of the emails that recipients will see. Lastly, enter your email content using the rich-text editor. Here you can format any text, as well as add photos, tables or links.

There is also a button here to edit or add content in an HTML format, if preferred:

You can preview your email in the format in which it will be sent by clicking the blue button at the bottom of the page:

Click the green 'Save' button at the bottom of the page to save your Template. Now your template is ready to be included in a campaign, or sent as part of a bulk or direct email to one or more leads. In this grid, we can see that the template is 'Active' and available for use, but has not yet been assigned to a Campaign.

Note that you can edit any Template listed here, but you are only able to delete Templates that have not been assigned to a Campaign:

Here are some tips for creating effective email campaign templates for your CRM system:

  1. Define your goals and target audience: Before you start creating your email templates, it's important to define your goals and the audience you want to target. What do you want to achieve with your email campaign? Who are you trying to reach? Answering these questions will help you tailor your templates to your specific needs.

  2. Keep it simple and consistent: When it comes to designing email templates, less is often more. Keep your templates simple and easy to read, with a clear hierarchy of information. Use a consistent layout, fonts, and color scheme to create a cohesive brand image across all your emails.

  3. Make it mobile-friendly: More than half of all emails are opened on mobile devices, so it's crucial that your email templates are optimized for mobile. Use a responsive design that automatically adjusts the layout to fit the screen size of the device it's being viewed on.

  4. Personalize your emails: Personalization is key to making your emails more engaging and relevant to your audience. Use dynamic content and the Personalization Tokens to insert personalized information, such as the recipient's name or area of interest, into your email templates.

  1. Test and optimize: Once you've created your email templates, it's important to test and optimize them for maximum effectiveness. Use A/B testing to test different subject lines, email content, and calls-to-action to see what works best for your audience.

With a little creativity and testing, you can develop a set of templates that will streamline your email marketing efforts and provide a consistent brand experience for your customers.
